A Cute Little RPG, Japanese Style.

If you have ever wondered what would happen if a Japanese style RPG was crossed with a Japanese dating sim, then Thousand Arms is for you. Actually, I would recommend this game to any lover of RPGs, or anyone that wants to try something different. The graphics are nice, but nothing too cutting edge. The sound is done well, and fits the story well. The gameplay is pretty standard for the genre as well. Even the dating angle isn't taken too seriously, although it is funny and interesting for a while. The story is pretty much the standard, boy saves world from great evil while winning the heart of his dream girl. Over all the pieces of this game are pretty standard, but when placed together, the game is surprisingly good, and engaging. Really, what else can be asked of an RPG? If you are a fan of the genre, track down a copy of Thousand Arms, if you aren't, your money is problably best spent elsewhere. I really liked it though.
